Business Controller at Aalberts IPS - Commercial Excellence, dynamic PowerBI reporting, business partnering
What do you do?
We are looking for a data driven, analytical Business Controller who wants to make a direct impact on the business performance and growth of Aalberts IPS in Western Europe. In this position you report to and support the Director Controlling WE. Furthermore you will provide the sales management with sales reporting, analysing development in sales prices and margins with the aim to help them improve the profit of various product lines.
As a Business Controller you are responsible for the reporting & analysis of the consolidated sales, margin and rebates. You enrich the source data to actionable insights on country, product (line) and customer level. You will ensure the collection and validation of the data from the countries, and the reporting, analysis and interpretation thereof, to IPS management. You will be involved in adhoc reporting and analysis for commercial excellence, and assist in the sales forecast and the budget cycle. Besides the focus on sales reporting you are also responsible for calculating, analysing and challenging the multimillion customer bonusses. Next to this you will also analyse free shippings, freight costs, and related activities. In short you are the go-to person when it’s about sales, margin, pricing, profit and its in-depth analysis providing commercial excellence.

- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration
- 2-6 years of experience as an (commercial or business) analyst within a commercial, international organisation (within a manufacturer is a plus)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, aptitude for working with (BI) tools, systems and large volumes of data
- Fluent in Dutch and English (additional language is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, conduct efficient business meetings and create impactful reporting and presentations
- Able to work in fast paced, dynamic setting with multiple stakeholders, international exposure, tight deadlines and ad hoc requests
