Together, you are the financial backbone, facilitating future (cross-border) growth.

In this newly created position, you take the lead in implementing the financial control framework from A to Z. You start by determining the ‘as-is’ situation by assessing the current processes and from there on, you map the ‘to-be’ situation. During this process, you implement an efficient periodic closing process, which you will manage yourself. You review the (complex) accounting topics, tax matters and the financial reporting. Other than that, you will be in control of the Balance Sheet (checks, accruals, provisions and reconciliations) and P&L. Besides building a financial control framework that gives clear insights in the actuals, it is also crucial to translate business initiatives into financial (P&L) impact. You will be in charge of maintaining an up to date cashflow model, that also will be used in scenario analyses. What is the impact on the cashflow when changing the deposit amount for glass jars. This is just one example of the many topics that go along with the expansion plans of Pieter Pot and your financial analyses are key as input for strategic decision making. You will also play an important role in inventory control, by supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team with analyses and inventory related queries.
